Meet the Team

Jat Mann, Founder & Managing Director

Jat qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant nearly 10 years ago and progressed to be one of the youngest Heads of Finance in his industry. He also worked for a number of leading companies including Bridgestone Motorsport, Lloyds Pharmacies and National Grid Transco.

Having always had a passion for IT, Jat decided to set up a local pc repair service following an unfortunate encounter with a rogue computer repair company.

Following extensive retraining and research, Jat founded PC PAL in 2004, with the goal in mind to become the leading PC repair and support brand in the UK, offering customers an unrivalled level of service.

Having grown the business successfully in Solihull, PC PAL is now one of the leading computer repair companies in the Midlands. Jat is now spearheading the expansion of the PC PAL brand by rolling out the franchise network throughout the UK.

Julia Mann, Marketing Director

Julia obtained her First Class Honours Degree in Textile Management at Leeds University in 1996 and also won the prestigious Coats Viyella prize awarded by the Textile Institue, beating off competition from entries from Australia, India, New Zealand and the UK.

Julia then moved from a technical textile role into marketing & PR, working for Courtaulds European Fibres, where she initiated an innovative and award winning range of viscose fibre brands, selling into high street retailers including M&S and BHS.

Following several years working in marketing & PR in the further and higher education sector, Julia created the brand of PC PAL and set about launching and promoting it in the Solihull area.

She is now working to ensure PC PAL becomes a distinctive, recognisable and valued brand throughout the UK through the expansion of the franchised network of PC PAL engineers.

Chris Gauden - Technical Support Engineer

Having spent several years at college studying electronic servicing, I joined a large multi-national repair company in 1997, fixing everything from televisions to computers.

During my time there I went back to college and gained a few more qualifications in electronics and also in 2002 became CompTIA A+ certified and more recently I have become MCDST certified.
After almost 12 years, I decided to move on and joined PC PAL where I have been able to put a lot of my skills to use from soldering to setting up wireless networks.

In my spare time I enjoy watching films, listening to music and playing online games.

David Allen - Technical Support Engineer

After spending several years studying IT, I was very keen to spend my working life in the computer support sector. My determination enabled me to achieve my CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certification and I'm continuing my education with further training.

I first started my career working in Lichfield supporting the local businesses and the general public for 3 years. Then I moved to PC PAL to make better use of my skills, not only in technical support but also in web design. After working for PC PAL for several months, I can say that I really enjoy working for PC PAL and see a clear and healthy future.

In my free time I like going for long walks, eating out and playing video games.
